Thanks to the AC Control Air, it is possible to seamlessly integrate air conditioning systems into your building automation system in just a few minutes. The resulting benefits did not go unnoticed by LG, and so the multinational conglomerate approached us with the desire to make this possible for their appliances too. After Daikin, Gree, Toshiba, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Fujitsu and Sinclair, we are now supporting a seventh, global market leader with AC Control Air for LG.

Almost ten years ago, we revolutionised the heating industry with our Valve Actuator. Back then, concepts such as individual room climate control were not utilised, and we were ridiculed by many heating manufacturers for implementing them. Today, exactly this is standard in smart buildings.

Based on our many years of experience in intelligent HVAC control, and in view of changing requirements, we have rethought our Valve Actuator. With three points being of particular importantance to us during development: durability, power and making sure that the Valve Actuator operates silently.

More than 500,000 valve closures: Reliable for multiple building lifetimes

Let’s assume that a building is heated 300 days a year. With 10 closures of the actuator per heating day, this would mean 3,000 closures per year, or 75,000 closures over 25 years. However, we did not stop there when developing our new Valve Actuator: our new Valve Actuator masters more than 500,000 closures without any problems.

Up to 150 newtons of concentrated power: More power, more possibilities

Especially in commercial buildings, a lot of force is sometimes required to reliably close larger valves. Thanks to its innovative design, our new Valve Actuator easily meets these requirements with the ability to exert 150 newtons of pressure when it has a permanent power supply and 100 newtons in the battery version. The new Valve Actuator is therefore more than twice as powerful as its predecessor, which had a pressing force of 70 newtons.

Silent comfort for living spaces

Despite all the power that our new Valve Actuator delivers, it operates almost silently. Thanks to intelligent motor control, the operating noises are so quiet that they are barely distinguishable – quieter than the flow noise of a radiator. This feature makes the Valve Actuator particularly suitable for living spaces where peace and quiet are crucial to provide comfort.

An upgrade for smart heating control

With the new Valve Actuator, we are proud to present a product that has been improved on all levels. The upgrades at a glance:

*A conventional thermal actuator requires slightly more than 2 watts in standby mode. Our new Valve Actuator has a standby consumption of 0.05 watts.

The Touch Pure Flex is the ideal control element for guests and people who are potentially not familiar with the Loxone T5 standard. Its customisability, self-explanatory functions and minimal energy consumption made it the ideal addition to our Touch product family. However, we are now giving the amazing Touch Pure Flex an upgrade.

thanks to the addition of a backlight

The heart of the new Touch Pure Flex is the intelligent backlight. With this additional feature, we not only bring a fresh, modern design to your rooms, but above all increase its user friendly nature and provide more convenience to users.

The new “Touch Pure Flex Controller” function block can be used to adjust the backlight depending on the room type and changing light levels. This always ensures the right level of brightness at any time of day or night.

For people who are particularly sensitive to light during the night, there is an optional “Light by touch” function. The first click activates the backlight and the second the desired action. We have provided pre-defined selectable standards for living rooms, hallways and bedrooms.

As with its predecessor, we have made sure that standby consumption is kept to a minimum. We have also improved the accuracy of the temperature measurement. Speaking of predecessors: the new Touch Pure Flex comes in the same design and therefore fits into existing frames.
