Hi Kosta
I’m a little confused as to whether you want to know if the Loxone Fobs can work on other brands of reader, or other brands of Fob on the Loxone NFC Code Touch.
In any case the encryption method used on our NFC Fobs is Mifare Desfire EV1. This in theory (not personally tested) means that another brand of fob that uses the same encryption should work on the NFC Code Touch, and that our fobs should work on another reader capable of reading Mifare Desfire tags.
Note that if used on other brands of reader then different readers adopt different security methods for access. For instance certain brands will merely read the UID of the tag and no data will be stored on the tag. Other brands will read the UID as well as a portion of data stored on the header of the tag, this method is more secure but does mean that one tag has a limited number of systems it can be learnt into. Systems refers to an entire site rather than per reader, e.g a single system with 10 readers would be one site code on the header.
