Loxone's technology has allowed for life-changing improvements to be made, which mean that the residents can live self-sufficiently for longer.

Fall Detection and Behaviour Monitoring:
Through the installation of presence sensors, Loxone can monitor activity in each room, sending a notification to family members/carers if there are unusual behavioural changes, which may indicate a fall or illness.

Emergency Buttons:
We provided the residents with various panic Button Airs dotted around the home, for easy access to call for help in an emergency, which also sends notifications to family members/carers.

Climate Control:
The heating was integrated with Loxone to ensure that each room is kept at the perfect temperature at all times. This is great for ensuring optimal comfort within the home, without having to remember to turn the heating off before bed!

Lighting Control:
The lighting is controlled and is presented in an easy-to-use manner. All lighting moods are driven by presence, depending on the time of day, meaning the residents do not have to use the switch on a daily basis. We also configured a low lighting mood, which highlights the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

The client also requested LED Track Lighting, as their son finds great enjoyment in the colours and moods. With the integration of Loxone we were able to introduce many fun lighting options within the home.

Automated Doors & Windows:
Doors & Windows are motorised by presence, the App and by wall mounted push buttons. Allowing the client to move freely around the home by their wheelchair. The windows are also effected by the Weather Station, which closes them when rain is predicted.

Backup Power:
With most functions in this house being for Assisted Living, we have installed a UPS Power Supply and also utilised the Power Supply & Backup allowing the owners to be able to keep basic functions of the house, during a power cut or failure, like Lighting, Automated Doors, Internet Connection, Door Locks, Intercom & Security.

TV IR Controls:
With this being an Assisted Living Home, we introduced smart controls for all the TV's in the home, allowing their son to control the TV's from the App on his iPad.

Multi-Room Audio:
Each room has been fitted with ceiling mounted speakers which are linked to the Loxone Audioserver. This allows the family to play their most favourite music while also benefitting from audible alarms and notifications from Panic Buttons, the front door Intercom and Fire & Burglar Alarms."
