Comprehensive energy management ensures that the location can be operated as sustainably as possible. This also includes functions such as eco mode for times when there are no customers present, constant light control based on the lighting conditions, and precise energy monitoring. Deliveries do not have to be accepted by employees either. Access for suppliers is smartly controlled via an NFC code touch and a motor lock. 



The in-house IoT application BistroBrain® is also linked to the Loxone system, opening up possibilities such as announcements via the multi-room audio system when a pizza is ready, as well as customer greetings. 



Bistrobox locations are either operated without any staff at all or with limited presence times of sales staff (e.g. Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.). A particularly creative function that was implemented here with Loxone is the following: When a sales employee is on site, the roller blind to the cash register area is raised. This action activates a new mode for the entire store: cash payment is enabled, the product range at the ordering terminal changes and now also includes products that can only be purchased with an employee on site."
