They were keen to use a system which could interact with their chosen climate, ventilation, shading, access, energy management and media products.

They were also super keen to use technology to help provide a holistic lifestyle, as well as the core functions of the home working as automatically as possible they wanted circadian lighting, smooth air and passive cooling where possible.

We needed to control:

• Climate - 2 x ASHPs for domestic hot water as well as heating and cooling via UFH.
• Ventilation - Full house MVHR, motorised skylight
• Shading - Full house motorised roller blinds, including skylight, Internorm in-window blinds
• Lighting - Full lighting control including mains driven fittings, external lights, Loxone RGBW & PWM spots, Loxone driven RGBW & single white LED Strips, Loxone Pendulums & Nightlight Airs!
• Access - Gate, garage & motorised door lock control with multiple Intercoms & NFC keypads
• Security - Zone burglar alarm, presence simulation, Loxone Siren, external PIRs
• Safety - Link to fire alarm system
• Energy – Loxone Wallbox, connection to PV & Battery system.
• Multimedia - Multi-room audio and control of golf simulation system as well as surround sound system.

The client wanted granular and whole house mode control to enhance the automation experience.

Most importantly they were keen to work with a Partner who could deliver on their brief." They were re-assured that we could amend some of the logic retrospectively if in the future they wanted to alter the setup.

We worked with the main contractor and various sub-contractors to make sure that using Loxone controls complemented their designs around climate, ventilation, shading, lighting, etc.

Loxone’s versatility meant that we always had a way to build a system which could join up many different supplier’s products in harmony. The client liked what he saw at our showroom which meant we were fortunate to be able to use many of Loxone’s lighting products, making it much easier to setup advanced lighting controls including for the circadian rhythm."
