New: Hörmann Air
The new Hörmann Air enables you to seamlessly and natively integrate Hörmann motors of different types. Through simple Plug&Play via the API Connector in the Loxone Config, Hörmann components are easily integrated into the home and building automation in record time. An additional feature is the automatic recognition of the motor’s travel times.
Easy integration of Hörmann components
The traditional German company Hörmann is one of the big players in the field of gates, doors, frames and operators. Their products such as garage and roller doors have already been integrated into Loxone’s home and building automation – but previously, this involved a little bit of effort. Until now, this required some more equipment such as 2 relays or even 2 digital inputs. Plus, separate cabling had to be carried out and the installation effort was higher. With Hörmann Air we provide you with a product that can literally open doors to many projects in the private and commercial sectors due to Hörmann’s great reputation.
Power is supplied via the Hörmann HCP interface. No additional hardware is required for all motors from the compatibility list! Hörmann Air only needs to be connected to the HCP interface. Since this supplies the device permanently with power, the Air network is also expanded at the same time. The Hörmann Air also has a status LED.
In the commercial sector, the use of Hörmann Air simplifies the handling of garage and roller doors enormously, as no additional wiring is required to automate the doors intelligently.
