About the Company:
In 2014, the team at TSB met through joint interest and motivation to solve the same moral issue: Why do our customers have to call us when they need simple problems solved?
TSB now relies on Loxone for automation solutions that can be simply programmed from the start and work all the way through. Loxone automation is used in a wide range of their commercial and residential projects of varying sizes.
We soon realized our business would grow quicker with Loxone, which provided a reliable internet-free solution. We landed more jobs with a wider variety of clientele requiring diverse solutions. Now, we offer Loxone as our only hardware automation solution – the more we use it, the more our business grows.
How do you see yourself and your business transforming since you started as a Loxone Partner?
We started with our own automation controller, built in response to a demand for novel remote monitoring solutions for facilities. The original system was Cloud-based, making it susceptible to security breaches and requiring expensive monthly fees for Cloud maintenance that we couldn’t justify to our clients.

What skill sets/functionality are you most excited to offer clients? How does that stand out from other control systems?
Internet-free options and simple programming are the most exciting aspects of the Loxone system. This is the only system that allows us to program it once and walk away comfortably. There is no requirement for client information, such as emails or Cloud logins, to function.
It provides complete privacy along with superior functionality for the client and easy set-up for us. We can basically make it and leave it; it’s that reliable.
Where do you see the industry headed for smart homes/buildings? How does Loxone fit into this?
Most of the industry is headed in the direction of cloud-based internet-of-things systems like Google and Alexa. However, I believe that there is a growing clientele that are knowledgeable about and care about data privacy and having control of their automation system. This is a group that will succeed with Loxone.
For buildings, the demand for more self-serviceable solutions will grow as maintenance and utility teams get more training, knowledge and experience. This is where I see Loxone as the biggest player fulfilling the “right to the system” for the building owners to give them complete autonomy over facility maintenance and operations.
How does Loxone support you as a system and team?
Loxone support has been wonderful and helped the business grow. Direct support, availability and high-quality products are important to the company.
We’ve had the least number of RMAs with Loxone, which was another reason we shifted our focus to this automation system.
What advice would you give to new or Silver Partners working toward offering advanced solutions as a Gold Partner?
Prototype, prototype, prototype – that is it! It’s all about pushing the system to the limit, prototyping and thinking about new applications for the Loxone system, in addition to providing transparency and control to end consumers.
