The main goal of this project was to automatically create a basic mood when entering the home cinema and to put the entire cinema periphery in an optimal initial state. A particular challenge was to integrate the existing KNX installation into the project and at the same time seamlessly integrate the high-end video and audio devices.



In order to achieve our goals, we first carried out a detailed analysis of the existing home cinema. We found that effective control of the various devices and systems was required to provide a consistent cinematic experience. After thorough planning, we chose Loxone as our automation system because it offered high compatibility with the existing KNX installation and allowed us to integrate seamlessly.



We used various sensors and actuators to automate the basic mood in the home cinema. When you enter the room, the motion sensor detects your presence and automatically triggers a sequence of actions. The lighting is dimmed, special LED strips on the walls create a soft background light that immerses the room in a cozy atmosphere. At the same time, the intelligent control ensures the adjustment of the air conditioning and curtains to ensure the ideal comfort."
