In addition, the climate control elements of the rooms (air conditioning and underfloor heating) and the ventilation are to be integrated into the central control system.

  string(2746) "Heating and air conditioning are switched on or off automatically as soon as the guest enters or leaves the room or the patio door is opened or closed because the Presence Sensors recognise whether the guest is in the room or outside. At the same time, measuring the temperature indoors and outdoors makes it possible to set the optimal comfort temperature taking the outside temperature into account. This feature offers an additional opportunity to save energy and reduce the corresponding costs.

By means of the NFC Code Touch, the hotel operator can remotely issue codes in real-time, with which the guest can open the door to their room, meaning a conventional key handover is no longer necessary and the guest can enjoy additional comfort - no need to carry a key around anymore.

The lighting concept was created with RGBW LEDs and RGBW Dimmers in order to create a feel-good atmosphere on the premises. The Presence Sensors detect the smallest movements and automatically switch on the lights in the bathroom toilet when it's dark already.

With the help of the intelligent heating and air conditioning control, the system can both heat and cool throughout the building. As soon as the guest leaves the room, everything is switched off automatically.

Using the air conditioning system for heating and cooling at the same time offers more potential for savings. This is because the heating can be turned off completely - for example, if gas prices rise - and the comfort temperature can be controlled via the air conditioning units alone.

If the humidity in the bathrooms or guest toilets is too high, the corresponding sensors will immediately detect this and the fans will switch on automatically. This ensures optimal ventilation and reduces the risk of mould growth in wet areas. Here, too, Presence Sensors detect whether the guest is in the bathroom.

To explain why multiroom audio was implemented in the hotel: multiroom audio enables what previously seemed impossible. Think back. What did your musical interior design look like 15 years ago? A device was placed in each room: radio in the bathroom, CD player in the kitchen, stereo system and loudspeakers in the living room. It was almost impossible to transfer songs from one room to another. Modern multiroom sound systems remove this spatial limitation and make it possible to fill every room with the same or different music.

Safety and security also play a major role. Video surveillance in the outdoor areas helps reassure guests and staff.

When the "absence mode" is activated, all consumers switch off at the push of a button as soon as the guest has left the room. This is how sustainable energy savings are ensured."
