  string(1696) "The new Loxone Office & Experience Center is located in a listed building from the New Vienna Renaissance. Renovation is an issue that is relevant for old buildings like this one. There are always concerns that monument protection and sustainability are incompatible. In Vienna's Johannesgasse, Loxone has proven that the sustainable renovation of old buildings works very well. The Loxone system was integrated into the 19th-century building. Loxone employees from all over the world can now find space in the high, light-flooded rooms and take advantage of building automation. Loxone partners can complete training courses and interested parties can book an experience tour.



The 360° solution approach makes it possible to achieve maximum energy efficiency, for example through the interaction of shading, heating and air conditioning, based on presence, brightness and temperature. Due to the monument protection, external shading could not be installed, but a fabric developed by cooperation partner Hunter Douglas called SeaTex with a metalized reverse side, which consists of 50% recycled ocean waste, was used as internal shading in the window boxes. The shading interacts with the heating, so that in summer the shading is lowered just at the perfect time, and stays up in winter, so that the heating can be turned down, as solar energy can be utilized to heat the rooms.



The unique lighting concept puts the old building in a special light and accentuates the high classic ceilings even more. This was implemented with a combination of directed warm white and planar colored light. The ambient light can be changed with just one click on the Loxone Touch."
