You can already find numerous Modbus templates for all aspects of the Belimo product world for download in our library. With the Belimo Tree & Air, we are now providing you with a native interface that makes it even easier to integrate your Belimo products into your Loxone home and building automation.
About Belimo
Belimo is the market leader when it comes to drive technology and air conditioning components. The product portfolio includes damper drives as well as sensors, meters and valves, with which you can significantly increase energy efficiency. Especially in the industrial sector, such as our Loxone Campus, a number of Belimo field devices are used for the energy-efficient control of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Native Integration
The Loxone Belimo Tree & Air is a compact gateway that you can use to integrate up to 16 Belimo products. In the future, you will be able optimize the damper drives for low power consumption, integrate sensors and counters for measuring and monitoring, and configure valves for optimal flow control – all conveniently integrated into Loxone’s home and building automation.
We’ve decided to support Belimo’s own MP-Bus, as this allows us to support the widest range of Belimo devices and ensure maximum flexibility in every project. Thanks to the native integration of Belimo into the Loxone Config, Belimo devices can be integrated into building automation more easily than ever before. Now, we offer the most affordable as well as the best solution!
Easy Installation
So, how does it work? A cable runs to the top of the Belimo Tree & Air to the MP-Bus and is connected to the Belimo MP-Bus via a clamp. On the bottom, the power supply is provided via 24V DC and – depending on the version – the Tree wiring. Also, there is one special feature when it comes to cabling: As the MP-Bus connection from Belimo is orange, we marked this cable with a flag on the Belimo Tree & Air so that it cannot be confused with the wire for the power supply, which is also orange.
