Today the hall serves as an event location. “Frederick’s” opened in April 2022. Frederick’s combines a restaurant, two bars on two floors, a lounge and deli. In order to create the perfect atmosphere in the building, Loxone's intelligent building automation was used.
Solution
THIS CONTENT IS AUTOMATICALLY TRANSLATED BY GOOGLE TRANSLATE.After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Kaisersaal was listed as a historical monument and years later it was moved to the Sony Center. Even back then, monument protection was a big challenge and even today, Loxone partner Bürkle+Schöck Elektro Anlagen GmbH was faced with the question of how the listed luminaires could be controlled with Loxone.
No new cables could be laid in the building, so Loxone Air radio technology was largely used. This made it possible to include every luminaire in the concept and to react accordingly to all situations. In total, around 950 individual lights were brought together in the project to create a homogeneous lighting concept. Since the entire lighting works depending on the time of day thanks to Loxone, the operating staff no longer has to operate a single switch.
With Loxone we were able to ensure that all requirements could be implemented. The customer therefore received lighting control tailored to his needs.
