Auswahl der Lichtquellen
Durch den Einsatz von drei unterschiedlichen Lichtquellen schaffen Sie eine stimmungsvolle Atmosphäre: Arbeits- und Grundbeleuchtung, Akzentbeleuchtung wie z.B. LED Pendulum Slim und Hintergrundbeleuchtung mit z.B. LED Streifen.

The Loxone Ceiling Light combined with the right amount of LED strip creates an ideal working environment.
Characteristic of the dining room, our example brings the family together at the end of the day. In order to create the right atmosphere, the family paid particular attention to the lighting of the room. For the basic lighting, spots are installed in the ceiling. In order to focus attention on the table while eating, suspended pendants were used, which provide a pleasant and relaxed ambience for dining. Recessed RGBW LED lighting in the ceiling and behind the curtain rail provides indirect lighting for creating just the right mood for the occasion.

Mounted above the kitchen worktop, the LED spots provide clear and even illumination for food preparation.
LED Pendulum Slim
The pendant lights cast a soft glow over the wooden dining table. Warm white light makes the dishes look appetising while eating, whilst coloured light ensures the right party atmosphere in the evening.
LED Strip
LED strip is the perfect solution for producing indirect light and giving a room the ‘wow factor’. It can be easily attached behind furniture or as here, behind the suspended ceiling.
Touch Surface
Engraved on the worktop or mounted behind a wall, the Touch Surface is perfect for controlling lighting, music or shading while cooking, even if your hands are wet or full of dough.
Our Showhome is the perfect example of the power of smart lighting (if we do say so ourselves!) Our intention was to give the kitchen, dining room and living area as much light as possible in order to make the space appear as large and open as possible. For this reason, sufficient spots in warm white with predefined distance to each other were mounted on the ceiling.
LED SpotsÂ
In our Showhome in Austria, you’ll find numerous LED spots in the ceiling. The reason? The LED spots illuminate the room evenly and make it look a bit bigger at the same time.
Touch Pure
With the Touch Pure, the atmosphere of the room can be completely changed with just one tap. A simple tap on the middle of the Touch Pure activates the predefined lighting moods. When leaving the room, a double-tap turns the lighting off.
LED Strip
To show guests the full smart home experience and the unique power of lighting with Loxone, LED strips were placed on the suspended ceilings in the lounge area. These transform the entire atmosphere of the room in an instant.
Conventional lighting
Loxone allows you to fully integrate and control conventional light sources into your smart home lighting. In our example, these are chic LED bulbs that hang over the dining table and the living area.
Fireplace
We’ve also integrated a fireplace into our lighting mood to create a cosy and relaxing atmosphere for those dark, chilly winter evenings. You can integrate a range of different components into your smart home system using our numerous extensions.
Kitchen-diners are fast becoming the heart of modern homes. The children can look over their shoulder while they do their homework as dinner is being prepared. They are the centre of family life, which was not true of the traditional kitchen. So with this in mind, lighting these rooms is now not only about functionality and efficiency. Lighting this open-planned area of a smart home needs to be versatile to meet a wide range of requirements.Â
LED Pendants
A dining table is a special place in any home – it’s where the family comes together to eat and where friends enjoy a glass of wine. Conventional LED pendant lights illuminate the entire surface of this spacious wooden table and visually separate it from the kitchen area. Their warm white light can be dimmed for a more subtle, romantic lighting mood.
LED Spots
A well-lit work surface is crucial to ensure you have the best possible conditions to prepare food – no one wants to be cutting meat in dim light. As a central ceiling light would cast disturbing shadows while cooking, therefore several LED spots are a much better option – casting light evenly. Existing lights, such as the spot within the extractor fan, have also been integrated into the lighting mood.
LED Strip
LED strip on the furniture and the ceiling provide decorative accents. You can skillfully set individual areas for the perfect lighting mood and, with millions of colour combinations to choose from, you can let your imagination go wild.Â
TIP: Drywall panels are perfect for bouncing LED strip light off to create beautiful indirect lighting.Â
Motion SensorsÂ
A motion sensor is a must-have in a Loxone Smart Home as it allows your lighting to be automated. When you enter the kitchen-diner it registers this and brings on some basic lighting. If you’re no longer in the room, then the lights will be turned off – without you having to lift a finger.
Touch Pure
For those who have a particular love of beautiful aesthetics, we have developed this elegant touch switch. With the Touch Pure, you can control lighting, music and shading – all from one intuitive point of control.
Its backlight sets effective accents while also serving as a subtle orientation light. The switch also has a built-in temperature and humidity sensor.
Touch Surface
Ironically, one of our most beautiful points of control is one that you cannot see. With the Touch Surface, you can transform any surface into a switch. Whether your hands are wet or full of dough – control lighting, music, shading or even the extractor fan while you’re cooking.
Central point of control
While we firmly believe that essential functions – such as switching lights on and off – should be controlled by motion sensors and touch switches; should you ever need a greater level of control we have designed our beautiful Loxone app.Â
TIP: One central point of control per house is sufficient.
